In elementary school, one of my teachers always sang a song called ‘Little Boxes’ and referred to San Francisco’s suburbia of little boxes on the hill. This image, taken in San Francisco, is framed against one of those “little boxes” and is a blend between the boxy Bay Area suburbia and a cultivated garden — united by the color green.
